LET THE FESTIVAL BEGIN!!

  • DUST OFF YOUR BOOTS - Dress in COSTUME for the Hoedown, or wear your club shirts
  • Sign-in for late arrivals (from 6:30pm until 7:30pm only)
  • Entrants and guests are welcomed; Event will be officially opened on behalf of AHMF.
  • Mingle and meet other entrants and guests while being entertained by local Bluegrass Country Band "Kissin' Cousins".
  • Dinner is a variety of finger food (served to you while you chat and mingle), followed by tea, coffee and cakes.
  • Water will be available at no charge, of course.
  • Soft-drinks and alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
  • This event is only open to those who have pre-booked/pre-paid

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • Plastic weapons (eg. guns, knives, etc) are permitted IN THE EVENT ROOM but cannot be taken into any public areas (e.g. going to the toilet)
  • Guests will not be permitted into general use areas in dress-up clothes (e.g. gaming).
  • Car Parking - Commercial Club has over 800 car spaces available to guests at no charge.

  • As the situation has excalated with COVID-19, the Australian government has introduced a ban on non-essential gatherings of 500 or more people in outdoor areas, therefore this event is NOT open to the public.

  • There is to be no movement of vehicles between 10:30am and 3:30pm.

There are several options for you today:

Fun Day / Track Day at Motorsport Park Training Australia (MTA)

Wodonga TAFE's Logic Campus, 45 Albertson Road, Barnawartha North (near the Hume Highway, 17km south of Wodonga)

Guidelines:

  1. Drivers must be at track by 9:30am.
  2. The day commences with signing on and a briefing.
  3. Entrants receive approximately 3 sessions with 3 to 4 laps each session.
  4. There will be no more than 2 vehicles on the track at any one time, with the second driver being released when the first driver reaches the half-way point.
  5. This is NOT a speed event. This is NOT a timed event; it is simply a fun event.
  6. NO overtaking is permitted.
  7. Any person overtaking or driving dangerously will be requested to exit the track and not return for further laps.
  8. Drivers are required to wear helmets, long sleeve shirts, long trousers and enclosed shoes.
  9. Racing licence not required.
  10. Insurance - Check with your vehicle insurer as most will extend insurance cover at no additional cost.

The training venue at Wodonga TAFE's Logic Campus has a driver training / testing circuit, 1.6 km long and 8 metres wide - 11 metres wide on the straight.

The circuit adheres to CAMS strict industry and safety standards. Whilst the venue is NOT a race track, it is available for non-competitive drive days.

Workshop Tours: FREE workshop tours during the lunch break. Numbers are limited and on a first-in basis
